MyCredit Guide, the free credit score tool from American Express, plays a critical role in this strategy, offering powerful financial education tools that drive engagement with our existing customers, and help deliver our financial confidence goals in our enterprise wide ESG strategy.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Lead MyCredit Guide product analytics to uncover insights into user behavior, identifying patterns and key trends that drive product usage and engagement.
  • Influence product strategy by providing data-driven recommendations to shape future roadmap decisions and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Advocate for enhancements on product capabilities by identifying optimization opportunities and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to share insights and inform feature design decisions that enhance customer experience.
  • Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and storytelling to drive alignment and action on product priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years in data analysis and visualization of consumer data preferably in finance or eCommerce domain.
  • Data Analysis Skills. Proficiency in SQL, Big Query, and Adobe Analytics with experience analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Data Visualization. Strong skills in Power BI/ Tableau to develop intuitive dashboards and presentations that communicate key findings effectively.
  • Analytical Mindset. Comfortable working with complex data and able to distill it into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Product Focus. A customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate data into recommendations that improve user experience and product performance.
  • Collaborative Communicator. Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and presenting analytical insights to influence product direction.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, related field preferred (Computer Science, Data Science, Finance)

Preferred Qualifications

  • System Design Understanding. Ability to grasp technical architecture and how backend systems support product features and analytics.
  • Python for Data Analysis. Familiarity with Python for data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and automation of reporting tasks.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
