Amex Digital Labs is responsible for catalyzing innovation at American Express by originating, incubating, and managing products and platforms that are essential to our customers' lives. We are a fast-paced team that leverages emerging technologies to develop digital payment and financial services products, servicing solutions, and engaging membership experiences. Role Description:
Amex Digital Labs is seeking a Senior Product Associate to support the Emerging Payments team and the assessments of new product development for proprietary solutions. This Senior Product Associate will lead customer research, design, servicing and communication as well as the analytics roadmap.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead customer research and analyze results to define user personas and validate key target customer segments
- Articulate customer needs with product design and experience
- Lead product servicing, communications and support, partnering with enterprise stakeholders to ensure our product has the latest processes and communication channels in place
- Own and define the analytics roadmap, including KPI definition and product performance tracking
- Work cross-functionally with internal colleagues to define and deliver product requirements
- Ensure accordance with compliance best practices as the regulatory landscape changes while creating the best outcome for customers. This includes addressing and supporting responses to audit requests
- Influence product MVP and future roadmap by gathering insights from industry trends, customer research and internal data
Key Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of Digital Product experience
- Curiosity to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong bias towards action
- Passion for outstanding products and services, able to empathize with customers, and skilled at articulation of product functionality
- Ability to prioritize tasks and features effectively based on business reason, customer needs and technical impact
- Excellent communication and relationship skills with ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive teamwork and deliver results
- Detail oriented, able to identify key questions, make product decisions and assess how pieces of the puzzle interact and affect the overall project
- Highly organized, taking individual initiative and accountability for driving results
- Recognizes issues quickly and determine how to get to a resolution through creative problem solving and/or effective escalation

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
