What You Will Be Doing
In this dynamic role, you will serve as a cornerstone of growth for MBO Partners by leveraging our unparalleled database of consulting talent to deepen and expand programs with existing Fortune 1000 clients. Your primary mission will be to identify opportunities to introduce and place our high-caliber independent professionals into organizations in need of their expertise, particularly focusing on the professional services, technology, and financial services domains. Through strategic outreach and relationship-building, you'll not only promote our unique service offerings, but also contribute directly to the evolving narrative of our mission.
In this role you will: 

  • Use several different sources to build call sheets and use them sheets to prepare for targeted outreach to MBO’s existing clients, ensuring a deep understanding of each potential client's current needs and how our consulting talent can meet those needs.
  • Conduct daily outreach to hiring managers and decision-makers within our Fortune 1000 client base, using informed and strategic pitches to educate clients on the ways that our unique database of talent can help them.
  • Document the outcomes of these interactions meticulously in our CRM system to track progress, identify trends, and inform future strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them in crafting effective job descriptions that accurately capture the consulting talent they need. Utilize your understanding of the market and MBO's talent pool to recommend best-fit solutions for their projects.
  • Negotiate and help close our clients and candidates on project engagement details, maximizing success for all parties involved.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Solutions and Lead Generation teams to refine outreach strategies, share market insights, and develop a cohesive approach to growing MBO's contracting base.
  • Manage and/or mentor a small team of recruiters, guiding them in adopting best practices, enhancing their recruitment strategies, and achieving their individual and team goals.

What You Need to Stand Out
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably with a focus on contract placement or consultant assignments in the staffing industry.
  • A proven track record in business development or sales, with a strong preference for staffing experience in the professional services, technology, or financial services industries.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, and build rapport, with a focus on establishing long-term business relationships.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing growth opportunities in a competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and a solid understanding of data-driven sales strategies.
