SUMMARY

The Senior Director of VBC Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of clinical operations within the organization. This position ensures the efficient utilization of workforce resources to deliver high-quality patient care while optimizing operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical operations, workforce management, and healthcare administration, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Strategic Leadership:implement and ensure adherence to strategic plans for clinical operations that align with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring that all initiatives are data-driven and focused on enhancing overall team performance and clinical outcomes
  • Operational Oversight:Oversee the performance management of the clinical operations team to ensure process adherence and standardization. Develop and implement management processes to ensure optimized performance of the clinical team, processes and quality outcomes.
  • Workforce Management:Analyze workforce needs and develop staffing models to ensure adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation across clinical departments. Utilize workforce management tools to forecast staffing requirements based on patient volume, acuity and clinical programs.
  • Performance Management:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical operations and workforce management, regularly monitoring and evaluating performance against these metrics. Conduct performance reviews with clinical managers providing insights to team and quality performance to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Program Execution:Partner with the Operations Excellence team to ensure successful execution and adherence of clinical programs and initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, such as quality improvement projects, patient safety initiatives, and care coordination efforts. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure successful implementation and adherence to program policies and protocols.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with clinical leaders, department heads, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and communication across the organization. Facilitate interdisciplinary meetings to discuss performance metrics, share best practices, and address challenges.
  • Data Analysis:Utilize data analytics to monitor clinical performance metrics, workforce productivity, and patient outcomes. Generate comprehensive reports that provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements, presenting findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
