How will you make an impact in this role?

We are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented engineer that will focus on troubleshooting, testing, and validating hardware devices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and compatibility within our technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hardware technologies, skilled in problem-solving, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Perform detailed hardware testing and validation for new devices, models, and configurations
  • Troubleshoot device issues, document findings, and partner with engineering teams and vendors for resolution.
  • Support certification processes by validating hardware functionality in enterprise environments.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams (platform teams, IT operations, security) to align on device standards and identify testing needs.
  • Work with external vendors to address hardware issues and participate in hardware roadmap discussions.

Standards Support & Configuration

  • Support the development and maintenance of hardware configuration and model standards (screen size, device specifications, accessories).
  • Participate in lifecycle management of hardware standards, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.

Benchmarking & Data Analysis

  • Assist with benchmarking new devices and compiling performance metrics.
  • Analyze hardware performance data and report trends or potential improvements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide recommendations to improve hardware testing processes and tools.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging hardware technologies to inform testing and certification procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in hardware testing, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments (laptops, peripherals, device configurations).
  • Experience working with vendors and participating in cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with benchmarking practices and performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of modern enterprise technologies, including Gen AI hardware trends.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

Salary range

  • $110,000 - $190,000
