AENB HQ drives the administration of programs and services provided by AENB. It also plays an enterprise role in driving greater consistency, effectiveness and efficiency across the first line via the teams including Enterprise Control Management.

The Enterprise Control Management team (ECM) within AENB operates as a Center of Excellence to serve as a central support hub for all first line (1LOD) control management teams throughout the enterprise and is a key connection point with the second line Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) teams.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Governance will support the Director in coordinating the Control Management Leads Forums, Collaboration Groups, and Town Halls to drive lessons learned and best practices for all BU Control Management teams across the enterprise.This role will play a crucial part in fostering an integrated and consistent approach to risk governance within the 1LOD and enhancing communication across business units.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and set the strategic agenda for Control Management Leads Forums across business units to drive lessons learned, share insights, communicate best practices, and drive consistency across the Control Management organization.
  • Plan, coordinate, set the strategic agenda, and lead the Control Management Governance Collaboration Group across business units to drive community within the Governance pillar, share best practices, preview upcoming requirements or Policy changes that impact (1LOD), and drive consistency across the Control Management Governance teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and set the strategic agenda for the Control Management Town Hall, which is held quarterly and broadcasted live across the enterprise. Town Halls foster a sense of community within Control Management, ensure colleagues have an awareness of the strategic vision for the organization, and provide a forum for key updates and changes that impact 1LOD.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that foster meaningful connections among Control Management colleagues enterprise-wide, promoting collaboration and a sense of community.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the Forums, Collaboration Group, and Town Halls to ensure the content is valuable, meets stakeholder needs, and drives business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, risk management, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or project management certifications are advantageous.
  • Exceptional project management skills. Ability to successfully drive project results while prioritizing multiple work streams under time constraints and changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in risk management, governance, compliance, regulatory, or audit within a financial services context.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all band levels and work effectively in a collaborative, multi-cultural, team environment. 
  • Ability to take initiative and drive outcomes, especially when there is no predefined roadmap.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
