Insperity Services, L.P. DBA Insperity seeks a Senior Performance Test Engineer to work in Kingwood, Texas or remotely to gather non-functional requirements and act as an extended scrum team member on multiple teams and conduct system performance testing to ensure application reliability, capacity, and scalability. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Users, and the Scrum team to identify performance requirements and develop a performance testing strategy. Design various types of performance test scripts and execute them based on the application requirements, which may include load testing, stress testing, spike testing, endurance/stability testing, and scalability testing scenarios. Monitor both client-side and server-side application performance using in-house and commercial tools. Analyze performance test results across multiple applications, participate in root cause assessments, and provide recommendations for improvements. Provide detailed level test reports. Collaborate with the Application Health and Performance team to monitor system performance post-deployment and use that information to continue to refine tests in pre-production. Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency. Conduct training and provide assistance to Associate and Mid-Level Performance Test Engineers. Five percent domestic travel required to Kingwood, Texas for biannual meetings and training. Telecommuting permitted.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of experience with performance testing, including scripting and custom scripting, and software development.
- Travel required: 5% domestic travel required to Kingwood, Texas for biannual meetings and training.
