About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master-Level Forklift Technician with 7–10 years of experience in forklift maintenance, repair, and connected truck technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of LiDAR, assistance displays, smart hook, and telematics in material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both hardware and software systems in trucks, along with a strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems. As a key player in our team, you will train and mentor field technicians, ensuring that best practices are followed in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. The role requires up to 75% travel, both within the U.S. and internationally. A “player-manager” mindset is essential, as you will be both an individual contributor and a leader who fosters collaboration.

What you will do:

  • Provide technical support to dealer parts, service personnel, and other departments within Logisnext.
  • Travel to dealer/customer sites to assist dealers and field personnel with installation, maintenance, training and problem resolution. Assist dealers with key customer acceptance / satisfaction issues to help ensure future product sales. Provides detailed reports of trip purpose and outcome.
  • Provides feedback on a regular basis to Associated Teams regarding product health and open service issues
  • Monitors product health to control and help reduce warranty expense to company. Maintains problem log to recognize problems and quantify concerns. Communicates information regarding specific problems to Service Engineering, ML Design Engineering, Design Center Houston (DCH), Jungheinrich AG, and/or Logisnext Engineering as situation dictates. Initiates requests for product improvement.
  • Coordinates problem resolution with Engineering, CSM, Quality, Prove Design, Parts Authorization. Coordinates field problem investigation . Reports Test Orders (TO) to Service Engineering for Prove Design to evaluate product issues and validate corrective actions.
  • Develops product improvements to address product issues and technical information to support solutions. Creates Product Support Bulletins (PSB’s) and HPK articles for distribution in the Americas and SOP’s for internal use.


When & Where:

Up to 75% travel. Tuesday-Thursday office when in town.

What you need to have:

  • Diagnose & Repair: Perform advanced troubleshooting on forklifts and connected truck technologies, including LiDAR, telematics, and assistance display
  • Software & Hardware Expertise: Install, configure, and maintain smart sensors, connected displays, and telematics systems in forklifts and other Units
  • Technical Training: Train field technicians on advanced diagnostics, new technologies, and best practices for repair and maintenance.
  • Travel & On-Site Support: Provide in-person support and training at various customer and partner locations (up to 75% travel, domestic & international
  • Team Leadership: Serve as a player-manager, leading by example while fostering team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback to R&D and engineering teams on system performance and areas for enhancement.
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Extensive technical knowledge of IC and Electric Logisnext and Jungheinrich products

The pay for this position ranges from $94,129 to $115,756 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
