As an Experienced Service Advisor, you'll join a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars daily and fostering customer loyalty. Using your communication skills and automotive knowledge, you'll leverage cutting-edge technology to identify selling opportunities and keep drivers safe.

In our state-of-the-art service departments, you'll bridge the gap between Service Technicians and customers, actively engaging in the service lane. AutoNation relies on you to explain Service Technician recommendations clearly and suggest up-sell opportunities to ensure vehicle safety.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Appointment Management: Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly upon arrival.
  • Vehicle Assessment: Determine vehicle needs through customer information, walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
  • Consultative Selling: Assist customers in planning for ongoing vehicle maintenance.
  • Repair Orders: Produce transparent repair orders, including cost and time estimates.
  • Communication: Maintain frequent communication with technicians and parts associates.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Update customers on their vehicle status.
  • Satisfaction Assurance: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain superior product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  • Exceptional Experience: Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

Job Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Experience: Proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Goal Achievement: Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Sales Experience: Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Follow-Up: Willingness to follow up with customers.
  • Technology: Experience and desire to work with technology.
  • Driver’s License: Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
