JOB SUMMARY

As a Service Engineer you are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction during and after the implementation of our automated solutions, including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). You will be performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and system modifications. This role is part of our North American Service team where you will be working with our Software, Automation, and Project Engineers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting technical equipment and systems, including AGVs and AMRs
  • Work directly with customers to address their issues and provide training and support as needed.
  • Support local service partners by providing maintenance guidance.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for our customers.
  • Support in developing and improving internal service processes.
  • Documenting installation and repairs
  • Setting up demo systems for customers and providing technical feedback.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Automation Engineers, Software Engineers, Project team, Solutions team as well as Sales.
  • Ensure that all safety and compliance standards are met, SOP’s, safety site checklist, OSHA regulations etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


YOUR EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Degree in Electronical/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or min. 2 years professional work experience in a relevant technical, automotive or industrial field or as a Maintenance Technician/Manager.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Experience in PLC programming and working with CAD systems.
  • Read and understand complex wiring schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Troubleshooting experience for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic software to maintain and troubleshoot systems is preferred.
  • Field experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with AGVs, AMRs (and/or other robotics) is preferred.
