Job Summary

The College of Education Development Office is seeking a STEPS Alumni Coordinator to join our team to assist with building out our alumni outreach program. The College of Education has nearly 30,000 across the country and the world. The STEPS Alumni Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with alumni record management, engagement & communication, and event support.

This is a flexible position with a weekly schedule (including remote work) to be determined by the Development Office and the successful candidate.

The primary objective of this role is to work closely with Philanthropy and Marketing & Communications to help build and strengthen relationships with recent and established College of Education alumni. To meet this goal, it is vital to have consistently updated contact and employment data for the College’s nearly 30,000 graduates.

Activities include:
  • employment/contact database development, data entry, and reporting.
  • Additional duties include liaising with the UK Alumni Association to assist with alumni assessment surveys and employment analytics.


This role will assist with creating a standard operating procedure (SOP) for maintaining this data.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Organization, attention to detail, database management, survey software., alumni relations, development, collaboration, communication & interpersonal skills, communications software experience, social media.
