Shift

15-20 hours per week, generally between 8a-4:30p Monday – Friday however evenings and weekends may be required as business needs dictate.  There is some potential for remote work.  



Job Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling, planning, and logistics for various programs related to the Center for Personal Development (CPD), College Life, and the IMPACT grant leadership development initiatives. Key programs include CPD events, College Life and college-wide events, Rising Leader programs, LHC Leadership Conference, and Lewis Launch.  

Key Responsibilities include -


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling, planning, and logistics for CPD, College Life, and IMPACT grant leadership development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the LHC admin team to utilize existing protocols and procedures for programming.
  • Attend key meetings and assist with preparing agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Manage follow-up action items resulting from meetings.
  • Prepare reports to provide data and summaries for projects as requested.
  • Maintain web-based platforms and the LHC website with event details.
  • Assist in communication and administrative tasks with student leaders and student organizations.
  • Assist in planning and project management for the Lewis Launch orientation in August, including:
    • Attending regular meetings.
    • Communicating with external vendors.
    • Serving as a liaison with UK events.
    • Providing administrative support for communication with incoming students.
    • Scheduling and supporting summer virtual meetings.
    • Preparing materials for orientation sessions.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills both internal and external to the unit, attention to detail; problem solving, Microsoft Office Suite, database management in Excel, Tableau, plus Project Management and Event Planning experience

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years experience in project management or event planning are desired.
