TSM Certification or SNIA SCSA Certified Storage Architect. Certifications are required within one year of hire date.
Physical Requirements
The physical conditions of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing).
Shift
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, with occasional weekends and holidays depending on on-going projects.
Job Summary
The Storage Engineer IV will provide tier 3 support of all ITS incidents and requests for UK HealthCare storage. Primary duties include: resolving issues, documentation, problem analysis, project task fulfillment, management, and reporting. This position will be responsible for providing facilitation and coordination of training plans for ITS areas. Netapp or a Cloud certifications required within one year of hire date. Netapp and Brocade Fiber Channel experience. TSM, VMware and Windows server experience desired.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Windows experience; SAN fabric management and reporting experience; Storage virtualization knowledge, IBM SAN Volume Controller and Netapp cluster virtualization.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of information technology experience or equivalent preferred.
