JOB SUMMARY

The Survey Data & Reporting Analyst sits within the Survey business unit at SullivanCotter. In this role, you will actively participate in survey data collection, data validation, benchmark and report creation, and analysis of various health care compensation surveys. Working with leadership, you will participate in initiatives that standardize technical processes and methodology enhancements. 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Participate in data cleaning processes across multiple phases for compensation and custom surveys utilizing in-house and statistical software; may also assist in process definition and training 
  • Collaborate with analysts and survey managers to produce compensation and survey reports and analyses
  • Provide guidance and support to internal and external clients and survey participants regarding survey processes and analysis 
  • Provide in-depth quality assurance to compensation reports per formatting, analysis, and content guidelines
  • Create and/or audit workflows, analyses, charts, and dashboards, using Alteryx, Databricks and Tableau.
  • Participate in the identification or improvement of existing workflows, automation or streamline opportunities, and build solutions
  • Assist with ad hoc survey reports, analyses, and projects
  • Collaborate with team members and management to create and standardize training materials for new and existing processes
  • Identify and define opportunities for efficiencies in day-to-day survey operations by leveraging software and programming solutions
  • Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis. 
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts for standardization and optimization
  • Lead complex reporting projects using Alteryx, Databricks, and Tableau with consideration for designing scalable solutions on the cloud
  • Build and refine data models that reduce technical debt and support efficient migration from legacy tools to modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing best practices, with an eye towards data model integrity and performance optimization.
  • Independently collaborate and lead, with surveys team; the production of compensation survey reports   
  • Conduct and train others in standard in depth data cleaning using in-house and statistical software
  • Assure reporting calculations and methodologies are executed in accordance to documented specifications as approved by the Survey Governance Committee
  • Oversee ad hoc analytics and one-off projects within the designated survey
  • Delve into data to identify discrepancies, patterns, and insights. Concisely present findings to multiple stakeholders; and identify/execute on solutions for streamlining the continuous improvement of data practices
  • Assist management with administrative duties (e.g., interviews, job descriptions, etc.)
  • Mentor and train more junior analysts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred education fields are finance, economics, statistical research, research methodology, or other like areas. 
  • 5+ years of knowledge and experience in statistical analysis, survey, or data analytics. 
  • Technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Programming experience including Alteryx, R, SQL, and/or Python 
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with Databricks or other cloud-based solutions   
  • Experience with ETL processes
  • Experience with JSON
  • Experience interfacing with internal/external counterparts
  • Experience participating in / leading analytic projects
  • Experience creating standard operating procedures and other business documentation

    • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to successfully execute on or lead complex project deliverables in a very driven and changing organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile Project Management Methodology experience  
  • Knowledge of health care industry 
  • Azure DevOps experience

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $67,400 -  $112,000 annually

Remote, minimal travel. Travel %: 0-10% in a year. Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job.
