The hiring range for this role is:
107,666.00 - 150,995.00This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range andthis hiringrange may also be modified in the future. A candidate’s position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for annual bonusincentivepay.

Job Description SummaryResponsible for the analysis and design of solutions to meet business needs. Partners with customers to understand business requirements to create functional and non-functional specifications. Additionally, you’ll serve as an application and data SME, advising and influencing both business and technical partners. Your support will span the entire product lifecycle, from development and testing to post-implementation operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requirements Validation and Documentation:
• Ensure business requirements are thorough, detailed, and concise.
• Document exceptions and seek management approval.
Artifact Management:
• Oversee SA artifacts according to EPMO guidelines.
• Develop, review, and obtain sign-off.
Business Support and Subject Matter Expertise (SME):
• Provide application support to the business.
• Serve as the SME for relevant applications.
• Ensure any product changes are in line with the overall design and best practices
Forecasting and Estimation:
• Provide detailed estimates for SA activities and artifacts.
Communication and Issue Resolution:
• Deliver weekly status updates to stakeholders promptly.
• Investigate, analyze, and address customer issues, escalating risks, as necessary.
• Ensure issues are resolved effectively.
Team Collaboration and Process Improvement:
• Foster positive relationships with other teams and partners.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers in an effective manner.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Education, Certifications and Experience
- Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment
- Minimum 7 years of IT work experience focused in systems development and programming
- Experience with one or more of the following: COBOL, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, BPM/HIPAA validator such as Vitria, J2EE, WebSphere, Oracle, SQL, Cognos, Visual Basic, Jira, XML, Crystal, PeopleSoft, HTML, MS Access, designing data warehouse, data pipelines, reporting environments, data modeling including use of data modeling tools, and data governance
- Experience as a team lead or member on project teams in a cross functional environment
- Advanced analytical skills
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive working relationships
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
Preferred Education, Certifications and Experience
- Experience coaching junior technical staff
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Experience working with cloud-oriented tools and environments
- Experience with BCBS or health insurance industry
