Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner develops and implements recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill the College’s staffing needs. This role is responsible for recruiting, interviewing and vetting potential candidates, and ensuring all steps of the pre-employment process are complete for candidates who are hired. This role is also responsible for ensuring a positive and effective candidate journey as it relates to the overall candidate and onboarding experience at the College.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Recruiting:
Administers the employment/staffing function of the College by ensuring staffing goals are consistently met through the development and implementation of best practice recruiting strategies.
Recruits, interviews, and screens applicants for the College.
Partners directly with Hiring Managers to ensure all requirements are updated, position descriptions are accurate, and accurate screening criteria are established.
Review resumes/applications to identify qualified candidates for open or new positions, conduct screening interviews and tests, complete reference and background checks, and forward qualified job candidates to the appropriate Hiring Manager. Responsible for job postings, external advertising, screening interviews and required testing, college relations, and applicant tracking.
As ambassadors for the College, they are also responsible for relationships and partnerships with external companies and organizations to improve the College’s networking, sourcing, and prospecting for applicants.
Administration:
Completes and processes new hire information, schedules pre-employment screenings, and works closely with appropriate departments concerning incoming employees.
Coordinates with the Professional Development and Retention team on implementation of new hire orientation.
Ensures employee files are complete and forwards all necessary HRIS information for hire to the appropriate area for processing and entry in the HR database in a timely fashion.
Support & Training:
Participates in HR projects, such as researching best practices related to HR issues, policies, and programs; develops and produces various reports; develops staffing and briefing materials; plans, prepares materials for, or participates in special events or programs.
Assists and/or facilitates training specific to the Talent & Acquisition department.

Attends all required department meetings and training.
May be required to be available through a mobile device via voice and/or data during and outside of normal working hours, at the manager’s discretion, and must respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum Qualifications and experience:
Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in the Human Resources field, specifically in the areas of staffing/recruitment.
*An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework, and experience may qualify a candidate.

Typical office environment. Regular exposure to moderate noise typical of business offices.
