Role Summary

The Vendor Management Analyst responsible for collecting and examining data for execution of outsourcing related activities to support the business operations through building reports, data analysis, and engagement with important stakeholders to ensure business priorities are met.

This individual will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive and define outsourcing success and must have the necessary skill set to positively impact these metrics. The ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Technology Partner Management, Third Party Governance and other internal stakeholders including Senior Leadership is essential.

This position reports to the Associate Director, Strategic Planning & Partnerships within the Business Architecture function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performance Monitoring: Preparation of relevant data to enable tracking of management information and KPIs to ensure partners are meeting performance standards, contractual obligations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner Management: Implement processes to regularly review partner performance, adherence to contract terms and SLAs. Maintain open communication with partners at the relevant seniority levels to strengthen the relationship through real time feedback.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and resolve issues or incidents related to outsourced services, escalating when necessary to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Support organization-wide procedures for governance, risk and compliance management that manage, mitigate and minimize risk. Conduct regular risk assessments of outsourced services to identify and address any potential risks or weaknesses in outsourcing arrangements.
  • Contract Review: Support the drafting, negotiation, and review of vendor contracts to ensure they capture the contractual obligations to drive the expected business outcomes and the appropriate performance standards. Support contract management activities, including processing amendments, monitoring expiration dates, updating supporting documentation, etc.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports on vendor performance, risks, and outsourcing governance metrics to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Develop and refine targeted reports to drive decision making.
  • Invoice Payment & Resolution: Active management of the procure-to-pay process and invoice resolution with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Continuous Improvement: Acquire and maintain expertise, knowledge and information from relevant internal and external sources to support continuous improvement in outsourcing processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Technology Partner Management, Third Party Governance etc. to ensure cohesive outsourcing management and to define strategies that reduce risk and further enhance business performance and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related subject
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management or financial services
  • Experience in data analytics and data visualization via Tableau to monitor performance and derive business insights
  • Advanced in M/S Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner, both verbally and written
  • Proven track record of monitoring and prioritizing work, meeting deadlines and KPI's
  • Strong problem-solving skills and techniques with an ability to understand and carry out spend analysis and generate business insights
  • Learning on the go: have an open mind and willingness to learn
  • Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

This position currently offers an onsite hybrid work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office three days per week during onsite core days.  Our current onsite core days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
