Vice-President, Treasury

The VP of Treasury is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, debt management, and financial risk mitigation. This role will play a critical part in optimizing the company’s liquidity, ensuring efficient cash flow, and supporting the organization’s financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail environments, demonstrating expertise in treasury functions and financial planning.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all aspects of cash management and treasury operations
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow projections
• Monitor daily cash balances, inflows, outflows, and ensure adequate liquidity
• Audit and approve cash disbursements and manage positive pay exceptions
• Manage debt servicing and revolver draws and repayments
• Monitor debt covenant compliance and coordinate periodic lender reporting
• Maintain existing bank accounts and setup accounts for new locations
• Manage banking, lending, ratings agency, and merchant processing relationships
• Administer corporate credit card program and manage armor car service
• Provide restaurant support as needed for any treasury related matters
• Assess and mitigate financial risks and manage hedging arrangements
• Maintain capitalization table and manage equity award program
• Implement and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Collaborate with the FP&A and Accounting teams to support financial planning and reporting activities.
• Lead initiatives to enhance treasury technology and automation to improve efficiency.
• Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and working capital
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding capital structure and funding strategies.

What You’ll Need:

• Must represent Cooper’s Hawk values
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA/CTP preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or related roles, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, banking operations, debt financing, and financial risk management.
• Experience negotiating and managing relationships with financial institutions and lenders.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems, banking platforms, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to treasury operations.

Compensation Range: Compensation range is $260,000 - $300,000 / year plus annual bonus potential. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.What You’ll Get:
