JOB SUMMARY:

The VP of Business Performance is responsible for the Quality Assurance, Training, and Analytics Departments and Teams. The VP will be responsible for the team development, output delivery, strategic direction, and leading the teams to execute on the strategic initiatives of their direct departments in collaboration with Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance, and other functional areas as required within Corro. Teams will consist of both domestic and global members and will span these key functional areas across all operational teams with focus on driving efficiency and outcomes thru the programs and tools within the Business Performance departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Insights and Analytics:

  • Direct Analytics department managers
  • Set and drive execution of strategic initiatives, including but not limited to analytics tools, standard outputs and processes, etc.
  • Ensure proper focus and prioritization in alignment with key corporate initiatives and expected outcomes
  • Ensure executive management is kept apprised of critical path updates
  • Provide key inputs and recommendations into improvement opportunities focused on driving overall business improvement for the consumers of the analytics services

Quality Assurance:

  • Direct Quality Assurance department managers

Training and Development:

  • Direct training and development department managers
  • Set and drive execution of training and development initiatives, including but not limited to tools, processes, etc.
  • Ensure proper focus and prioritization in alignment with key corporate initiatives and expected outcomes
  • Ensure executive management is kept apprised of critical path updates
  • Provide key inputs and recommendations into improvement opportunities focused on driving overall business improvement for the consumers of the analytics services

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Ensure all departmental changes and updates and appropropriately socialized with operational and other stakeholders for inputs and feedback
  • Routinely engage with stakeholders to solicit feedback and drive improvements in departmental outputs based on feedback and inputs
  • Measure and monitor outputs and outcomes for reporting to executive leadership and other stakeholders as appropriate

Project Management:

  • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables across departments to ensure the successful completion of strategic initiatives.

Team and Departmental Development:

  • Develop a competent management team and business strategy to position the departments to support anticipated operational growth
  • Direct, coordinate and evaluate performance of all functional areas of responsibility: initiate corrective actions to improve performance deliverables and/or resolve issues as they arise

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Must be able to demonstrate superior organizational, management, leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Ideal experience will include a blend of strategic and operational experience with strong customer side exposure specifically in the Revenue Cycle Outsourcing industry.
  • Proven successful experience leading, coaching, and mentoring management is required.
  • Must be well organized, service oriented, energetic, and committed.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable format.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare financial operations or payer relations.

Work Environment:

  • The position may require working in a remote setting with travel of less than 25%
  • Flexibility in hours may be needed to collaborate with teams across different time zones.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
