Position Summary:
Join Just Born as a Warehouse Manager, where you’ll lead and inspire a team to deliver top-notch warehouse and inventory management. This role focuses on planning, managing, and optimizing warehouse and supply chain processes to ensure smooth operations and exceptional results.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
How You’ll Impact Results:
· Lead Warehouse Operations:
- Drive efficient storage and flow of materials and goods.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize layout and performance.
- Manage tracking, movement, and disposal of scrap materials, coordinating regular pick-ups as needed.
· Inventory Management & Data Accuracy: Track and report inventory data, using tools like Incorta and SAP, while communicating effectively internally and with customers and vendors.
· Collaborative Problem-Solving: Address warehousing challenges, implement solutions, and work closely with Operations and Sales teams on inventory, budgets, and purchasing.
· Performance Metrics & Compliance: Monitor key metrics, including on-time delivery and order fulfillment rates. Ensure inventory tracking meets compliance standards, including regular cycle counts.
· Demand Planning & Fulfillment: Plan proactively based on stock and procurement needs. Oversee order processing, preparing items for shipment to meet customer demands.
· Team Development & Training: Set goals for the team, assist with training, and support ongoing staff development for optimal performance.
· Food Safety & Quality Assurance: Foster a food safety culture, meeting regulatory and quality standards across all operations.
· Warehouse Organization: Apply 5S and lean principles to maintain organized, efficient storage spaces. Collaborate with facility teams to align schedules and goals.
· Promote Teamwork & Safety: Cultivate a positive team environment that prioritizes safety, respect, and professional growth in line with Just Born’s People First RESPECT culture.
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations a plus).
· Experience: 5+ years in warehouse or inventory management; Departmental leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred.
· Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
