The incumbent will supervise a multidisciplinary team serving 180 clients with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders in an urban outpatient setting. The Supervising Clinician leads the outpatient behavioral health team, providing services to clients in the greater Waterbury catchment area, including those in various residential settings. Many clients also have significant medical conditions requiring oversight and follow-up care.&nbsp;The team includes psychiatrists, nurses, mental health workers, mental health associates, and clinical social workers. The Supervising Clinician manages acute client risks, develops risk mitigation plans with staff, and oversees timely documentation, billable services, assessments, quality treatment plans, scheduling, clinical groups, and compliance with Joint Commission standards.
