Construction Loan &amp; Closing SpecialistPosition Overview:BlueHub Loan Fund (BHLF), an affiliate of BlueHub Capital (BlueHub), seeks a Construction Loan &amp; Closing Specialist (CLCS) to support our community development lending program to a diverse set of borrowers. The CLCS will manage and maintain procedures and internal controls related to a complex set of commercial transactions in accordance with BHLF’s Loan Policies and Procedures.This newly created position requires a highly motivated person with a commitment to community development finance and, ideally, a background in construction management and monitoring, loan closing, or portfolio management. This person will be responsible for closing and funding loans in coordination with Loan Officers, the Portfolio Management Team, the Finance Department, outside consultants and legal counsel. They will also be responsible for reviewing construction requisitions, closing, disbursing and monitoring construction loans. This person will support portfolio reporting responsibilities on a monthly and quarterly basis. Negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and assess vendor performance. </li></ul><ul><li>Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cost control, timely purchasing, and alignment with sustainability goals. </li></ul><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and relationship management. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and mitigate potential project risks related to warehouse startups, vendor management, and purchasing, proactively addressing challenges that may impact timelines, budgets, or quality. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and oversee resource allocation, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure all project deliverables meet GreenBox Logistics' quality and operational standards. </li></ul><ul><li>Provide regular project status updates to senior management, adjusting timelines and strategies as needed. </li></ul><ul><li> Work closely with Operations, IT, HR, Sales, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and cross-functional alignment. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and overall logistics operations. </li></ul>What you’ll need<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within logistics, supply chain, or transportation, with a focus on warehouse startups, vendor management, and purchasing. </li></ul><ul><li>PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar). </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation. </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of purchasing, supply chain management, and procurement processes. </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of sustainable logistics practices and green supply chain principles. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in warehouse design, setup, and operational integration. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. </li></ul><ul><li>Budgeting and financial managementexpertise. </li></ul>Our Environment<ul><li>Remote, travel-based position.  </li></ul><ul><li>Travel is required up to 75% of the time. Employee must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. </li></ul><ul><li>The employee is responsible to own a credit card and manage expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis. </li></ul><ul><li>A portion of site time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).   </li></ul><ul><li>Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
