The Facilities/Plant Engineer&nbsp;Intern position will be located in our Plant 4,&nbsp;Thermatech Coatings and Ti-Ingot Operations in Whitehall, MI. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant 4 team as a Facilities/Plant Engineer Summer Intern. &nbsp;Primary responsibilities include: <ul><li>Assist plant engineers with project schedules, inspections, and as built information</li><li>Provide contractor safety observations and documentation</li><li>Update CAD files of Plant infrastructure, site layout and physical inventories as required</li><li>Document and complete safety and process improvement projects as assigned</li><li>Identify critical spare, order requirements and inventories for major repair parts&nbsp;</li></ul> The 2025 Summer Internship Program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch &amp; learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business. &nbsp;At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. Learns to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment and instrumentation.</li><li>Performs facility maintenance and repair and may replace or install light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, damaged glass, windows, doors, partitions, ceiling or floor tiles, door locks, carpet, and/or paint.</li><li>May perform manual labor including cleaning equipment, facilities and grounds as required and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies. Operates vehicles for plant operational purposes.</li><li>Learns to estimate time and material costs for various projects.
