<h2>Overview/Purpose: </h2>
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots and repairs all plant structures and equipment associated in the production and packaging areas.&nbsp; This is to be done with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
Primary Duties:
<ul>
<li>General industrial maintenance troubleshooting &amp; repairs (conveyors, statistical weighers, vertical baggers, etc.)</li>
<li>Electrical troubleshooting of Industrial Equipment (PLCs, Drives, Servos, 480V Motors, 24VDC Control Circuit, Labelers, Robotic Palletizers, Closed Loop Controls, etc.)</li>
<li>Basic HVAC experience</li>
<li>Basic Fabrication (welding, milling, etc.)</li>
<li>Completion of PMs (Preventive Maintenance)</li>
</ul>
Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.&nbsp; 
<h2>Requirements:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Minimum two years’ experience in a Maintenance Technician role in a manufacturing environment or related capacity</li>
<li>High School Diploma/GED with substantial experience in manufacturing maintenance and reliability required.</li>
<li>Associates’ Degree in an engineering, technology or scientific related discipline is preferred. </li>
<li>Experience with CMMS Software required – (Computerized Maintenance Management System)</li>
<li>Experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.</li>
<li>Work cooperatively in cross-functional teams to solve persistent downtime issues</li>
<li>Effective communication (both written and verbally) and interpersonal skills </li>
<li>Possess advanced computer literacy</li>
<li>Ability to work with all levels of employees and build effective working relationships</li>
<li>Understanding of basic principles of the SQF program and other food safety policies/procedures</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>Primarily, manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Some exposure to fluorescent lights</li>
<li>Exposure to manufacturing equipment hazards, especially forklifts</li>
<li>Standing and walking on concrete floors</li>
<li>Frequently exposed to a variety of dust particles</li>
<li>Forklift Traffic</li>
<li>Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs</li>
</ul>
Potential Hazards:

Hazards controls:

<li>Training on housekeeping issues and awareness of location.</li>

<li>Ability to read &amp; understand calipers</li>
<li>Ability for a variety of Industrial Machining: Drill, Tap &amp; Die</li>
<li>Wide understanding of operation of gearbox</li>
<li>Ability to identify sprocket numbers</li>
<li>Understanding of greasing</li>
<li>Ability for cutting chain</li>
<li>Wide understanding of Pneumatics</li>
<li>Wide understanding of Hydraulics</li>
<li>Metal Bending (Shop Brake)</li>
<li>General understanding of specific lubricants</li>
