Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:

Foundational Sciences Faculty – Immunology or Microbiology

Job Description:ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Department of Medical Education (DME) at the proposed Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine (IllinoisCOM) is recruiting a full-time, non-tenure Foundational Sciences faculty member with experiences to warrant a rank of Associate or Full Professor to join an innovative and forward-thinking team in developing and delivering an interdisciplinary osteopathic medical curriculum. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with subject matter expertise in Pharmacology. In addition to spearheading innovative pharmacology instruction, the successful candidate will contribute to curricular development, serve as Course Director/Co-Course Director for foundational or organ system courses, contribute to program and University service, and pursue scholarly activities in support of the IllinoisCOM and Chicago School Mission. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.</li><li>The position is based on the Chicago, IL campus, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.</li><li>This role will report to the Chair of the Department of Medical Education.</li><li>Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; BenefitsThis opportunity is budgeted at $115,000 - $200,000 base compensation.
