JOB STANDARDS:
Minimum Faculty Qualifications
A master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours (or equivalent) in accounting courses is required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other accounting professional licensure is preferred.
A minimum of two years of work experience in accounting is preferred.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Teaching experience, especially in a community college environment, is preferred.&nbsp; &nbsp;

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
60% A. Develop and teach courses related to the design, production and delivery of visual media and prepare course syllabi and materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
70% Teach Engineering Technology classes (most specifically Electrical Engineering Technology). Create instructional materials and laboratory experiences and teach courses at a variety of times in response to institutional needs, evaluate students’ progress toward achievement of stated student learning outcomes and inform them in a timely manner of their progress in the course, contribute to management of labs, and equipment, develop or update course syllabi for courses within the college guideline and curriculum as necessary to remain current with the industry, reviews, evaluates, and recommends student learning materials.&nbsp; Work with other faculty, staff, and local industries and organizations to continually refine and improve the Electrical Engineering Technology and Electromechanical programs. Such duties to be performed include developing new course materials or courses as required to maintain program currency in emerging technologies in the field of Electrical Engineering Technology and Electromechanical Technology; completing assessment requirements relative to the program.
10% Advise students. JOB STANDARDS:

<li>A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university and professional experience sufficient to meet SACS criteria.&nbsp;</li>
<li>A minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial experience, and/or experience in related research and development, and/or experience teaching a broad range of engineering technology-based classes.</li>
<li>Higher education teaching experience beyond the level of Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant (Community College teaching experience, or a clear commitment to the community college ethos, and experience teaching online preferred.).</li>
<li>Evidence of strong oral and written communication, computer, and presentation skills (A teaching demonstration will be required at the interview.)</li>
<li>A commitment to student success.</li>
<li>Motivation to develop partnerships with industry.</li>
<li>Proficient use of applicable electrical and electronic software</li>
<li>Ability to teach basic electrical and electronics courses required</li>

<li>Experience in applicable electrical and electronics equipment and software including LABVIEW, FANUC robots, WINCAPS III for DENSO robots, Instrumentation Technology, and Programmable Logic Controllers.</li>
