Patient conditions include ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke, isolated head trauma, spinal cord injury, spine surgery and other diseases of the brain and spinal cord. The RN serves as an important component of the acute care team; responsible for close monitoring and treatment of patient complications related to their neurological injury.
