REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree
Current CST certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
Evidence of clinical expertise in related field

Current IAHCSMM or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CSPT) certification
College level teaching experience

Central Sterile Processing certification.
Prior work experience at a community college.
Prior academic teaching experience in a health care field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of confidentiality statutes and policies as they apply to FERPA and HIPPA.
