Essential Functions:

<li>In concert with the President and Executive Leadership, provide recommendations for budget and operational administration for continued development of the Williamson Campus and the College.</li>
<li>In concert with the College’s planning processes, develop measurable, realistic goals for each area supervised that are assessed annually to support the College’s strategic plan.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Williamson County and area schools for strengthening student opportunities to postsecondary education opportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with college offices and community leaders, business/industry, institutions of higher education, public schools, and agencies and governing bodies to identify and address educational needs and services that support the fulfillment of the College’s mission.</li>
<li>In concert with academic leadership, manage academic programs, student services, and facilities to maximize classroom, lab, and facility utilization, while offering a course schedule that meets students’ needs yet maintaining efficiencies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Represent the College in the community to assess the needs for business, economic, workforce development, and continuing education opportunities for credit and non-credit offerings. Plan and/or work with other College areas for implementation of identified programs.</li>

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of the Learning Commons has the&nbsp;primary responsibility for providing leadership for academic student support services designed to enhance student learning and promote student success. Job Duties:

Address and evaluate accreditation compliance related to academic support services at all Vol State campuses. Title: Assistant Director, High School Initiatives &amp; Dual Enrollment
POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Director will serve as a leader within the Office of High School Initiatives and Dual Enrollment, providing strategic vision and direction for dual enrollment, Early College, and dual credit programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement and manage dual enrollment programs in partnership with local high schools and higher education institutions. Develop, implement and manage Early College programs in partnership with local high schools and higher education institutions. Directly supervise the high school coordinator and Gear-Up grant manager. Manage academic progress of Early College students and recommend appropriate academic support opportunities. This includes tracking data and maintaining notes for each assigned student. Develop and implement strategies to improve retention and academic success for both Early College and dual enrollment students. Oversee the department in the absence of the director. Develop marketing and outreach strategies to promote dual enrollment opportunities to students, parents and high school administrators. Conduct workshops, information sessions, and training for students, parents, and educators to explain the benefits and requirements of dual enrollment programs. Collect and analyze data on program outcomes, student performance and enrollment trends to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards and institutional policies related to dual enrollment. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including grant applications, progress reports and evaluation summaries. Develop and maintain partnerships with local school districts, community organizations and other stakeholders to expand access to dual enrollment opportunities. Assist students, parents, high school advisors, principals and staff with the admissions process, including the dual enrollment grant.

      Assistant Director, High School Initiatives & Dual Enrollment
    

Title: Director, Student Billing and Account Services
POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Student Billing and Account Services leads and manages the department’s efforts to assess, collect, disburse and report student tuition and fees, including ensuring all student/nonstudent accounts are invoiced accurately and timely and funds are collected securely in accordance with any applicable policies, rules or regulations. The Director also serves as the Colleges liaison to its banking institution and is responsible for monitoring and reviewing all banking transactions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the day-to-day financial operations of the Office of Student Billing and Account Services. This includes administering the College’s cash management portfolio, currently over $50m in assets, overseeing cash management portfolio transactions, both on the cash management and accounting sides, for execution and entry into the College’s general ledger and maintaining an effective banking structure for the College. Supervises all supervisory and support staff in the Office of Student Billing and Account Services. Determines daily cash requirements, cash concentration, short-term cash investment and maintenance of appropriate cash flow. Administers security for online banking services, maintains bank account, including opening/closing accounts, maintaining signature cards, reviewing services, monitoring monthly bank analysis charges and maintaining documentation for all College bank accounts. Manages student accounts receivable rules and validation tables in the College’s Banner database, including overseeing the maintenance of detail code, third party contract, fee waiver and exemptions tables, setting up refund and fee assessment tables for each term, regular testing with campus stakeholders to ensure accurate tuition and fee assessments, coordinating drop dates for nonpayment with IT and other departments and coordinating registration activities with other departments as needed.
Monitors control settings and coordinates upgrading and management of the College’s cashiering software, TouchNet. This includes verifying feeds from cashiering software are received in the Banner system, deposits and reconciliations occur accurately, and timely and receipting functions are compliant with TBR, institution and Payment Card Industry data security standards. Oversees the accounts receivable function of the College, including reconciling and monitoring billing and collection processes for student tuition and fees, third-party scholarships and contracts and general, non-student receivables, auditing billing files and communicating with students and stakeholders regarding accounts receivable matters. Liaises with the College’s banking institution to complete daily banking transactions, authorize wire transfers, issue stop payment orders on checks, address forgeries and disputed bankcard charges, monitor bankcard transactions and verify bank charges for services rendered. Oversees reconciliation of bank statements, including operating, payroll and petty cash, reviews outstanding checks each month, ensuring those that are more than six months old are voided, and maintains, cancelled check files.
Reviews monthly bank statements to ensure entries are made for the Local Government Investment Pool, maintains records for customers/vendors who use the Automated Clearing House for payments, coordinates cash-related activities at extended campuses and monitors safe activity on a daily basis. Directs the overall cashiering function of the college by monitoring and reconciling student accounts, helping students resolve tuition/fee charges, updating and maintaining external publication/website information with regard to general cashier processes and those related to tuition/fees and generating and submitting 1098T forms to students and the IRS. Manages the disbursement of student refunds as a result of adjustments in tuition and fee charges or awards of local, state or federal financial aid dollars, ensuring funds are disbursed timely in accordance with applicable local, state or federal regulations. Performs fiscal year-end processes in Banner, including reconciling and coding entries to clear accounts and preparing year-end reports. Establishes and maintains a department culture of respect and accountability in interactions with other departments across the College.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) years’ experience in accounting, business management, finance or related field.
Three (3) years’ leadership or supervisory experience.

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of the Welcome Center is responsible for overseeing the student enrollment experience at Nashville State’s student welcome center on the Whitebridge Road Campus and coordinating similar services on the College’s extended campuses throughout its service region.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides leadership, management and operational strategies to advance Welcome Center goals and initiatives. Supervises Welcome Center staff. Engages in both short and long-term planning for the delivery of student services, including establishing a process for continuously evaluating the student experience to evolve services and improve student satisfaction. Directs the delivery of new student orientation to students via in-person, virtual and online formats. Coordinates one-stop enrollment services for new students, including admissions, financial aid and career exploration and development.

POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Director for Technology Operations is a technical leader and critical member of the Technology Services Division’s (TSD) leadership team, responsible for overseeing the College's technology infrastructure, systems and operations to ensure the efficient and secure delivery of technology services to students, faculty and staff. This assistant director will collaborate closely with various College departments to align technology initiatives with the institution's strategic goals and core values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of the College's technology infrastructure, including networks, data centers, user support services and telecommunications systems. Ensure the availability, reliability and scalability of technology resources to support teaching, learning, student success and administrative functions. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the College’s technology can support institutional needs with minimal disruption to services. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the College's mission, goals and core values, with specific emphasis on building an infrastructure that supports teaching, learning and working. Communicate about planned and unplanned outages in non-technical language and in nearly real-time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree
Three (3) years’ experience as either a system administrator or a network administrator
At least two (2) years’ experience managing direct reports

General Function:&nbsp;
Conducts internal financial, operational, and compliance audits as outlined in the Colleges’ audit plan as approved by the TBR Audit Committee, or as directed by the President or the TBR CAE. Audits are for the purpose of determining the adequacy of the institution’s systems of internal control for continuous improvement, risk management, and fraud awareness; efficiency and effectiveness of financial, administrative and academic areas; and verification of compliance with policies and procedures of the College and Tennessee Board of Regents, and state and federal laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree earned from a regionally accredited institution in accounting or related business field, active CPA or CIA certification, and at least five years of professional auditing experience. Professional accounting experience may be substituted for the professional auditing experience on a year for year basis up to two years. Demonstrated professional experience in managing projects. Documented experience working independently.
Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp; 
Master’s degree earned from a regionally accredited institution in accounting or related business field, active CPA or CIA certification, and at least five years of professional auditing experience including experience working in higher education, and auditing large computerized accounting and information systems such as Banner (Ellucian). Documented professional supervisory experience.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Direct a comprehensive program of internal audit for the purpose of determining the adequacy of the institution’s systems of internal control for continuous improvement, risk management and fraud awareness; efficiency and effectiveness of financial, administrative and academic management; and verification of compliance with policies and procedures of the College and Tennessee Board of Regents, state and federal laws and regulations,</li>
<li>Analyze systems, processes, procedures and transactions for efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness of internal controls utilizing auditing and accounting standards, TBR policies and guidelines, institutional policies, federal and state laws and regulations, and contractual requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Conducts special investigations as requested and makes recommendations for improved controls, operating procedures, accounting records, and systems design.</li>
<li>Collaborates with executive-level officers of the College on matters such as policies and procedures; provide assistance as requested for improving the overall operations of the college.</li>
<li>Prepare working papers and reports, including year-end status report, to document work performed and conclusions; discuss findings, observations, and recommendations with appropriate personnel; document management’s plan of action to resolve any deficiencies.</li>
<li>Prepare annual audit plan as per discussions with the College President; Assist the President in ensuring that operations are fiscally well-controlled, efficient, and effective; Coordinate special assignments from the President and develop suggestions for enhancement.</li>
<li>Consult with executive leadership and management on the Enterprise Risk Assessment process as required by the State to better protect the assets of the College; Assess internal controls and make recommendations to improve internal controls.</li>
<li>Plan and oversee departmental budget based on goals and objectives congruent with strategic plan and college (s) initiatives</li>
<li>Comply with the Institute of Internal Auditors and other authoritative bodies Code of Ethics</li>
<li>Establish and maintain a quality assurance and improvement program to ensure compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.</li>
