This involves implementing physical therapy services to maximize the child’s independent functioning, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and coaching staff and family members on supportive strategies within home and community settings. The therapist adapts materials and environments to enhance the child’s participation in daily activities, maintains progress documentation in accordance with Medicaid guidelines, and participates in research while providing care coordination for families.<dt><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4></dt>Doctorate or professional degree in physical therapy AND current or eligible for Georgia licensure in area of assignment.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in early intervention programs with children aged 0-3 and working with children with disabilities. Expertise in multidisciplinary collaboration, proficiency with clinical assessment tools, a family-centered approach, and strong communication and documentation skills are essential.
