Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily supervision of all custodial functions at the college. This supervisor is also responsible for maintaining the needed cleaning supplies, equipment, and paper products. A very important aspect of this job is to make sure all classrooms, conference rooms and space set-ups are performed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
Job Duties:
Order inventory and track material and supplies essential to the cleaning of all campus buildings. Train and supervise employees in the proper use and care of all custodial equipment. Ensure that the custodial staff adheres to all safety rules and procedures related to custodial operations. Provide, or coordinate, Health &amp; Safety training for Custodial staff. Ensure proper storage of equipment, materials, and supplies. Assign and track all campus event set-ups and tear downs. Communicate with individuals in a one-on-one or group setting in person or by telephone. Confer with administrators, faculty, and other groups to resolve issues and coordinate custodial maintenance projects. Train, assign, and inspect the work of the custodial staff to ensure the quality of work and performance of the employees. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public. Must work cooperatively with other divisions and the public. Read, interpret, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines. Respond to security and emergency calls in a timely manner. Occasional travel to regional campuses to inspect the cleanliness of facilities is required. Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Four years of custodial or related work experience in a higher education or professional business environment. One year of supervisory experience. Must possess a valid Driver's License. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks and ability to work independently. Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, long and short distances. Ability to climb multilevel stairwells, walk long distances and/or remain in a standing position for extended periods.
Pay Rate: $51,857 - $64,821 annual salary depending on experience

Job Summary
This is a full-time, fiscal year appointment reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director of Purchasing supervises the purchasing functions and serves as the liaison for the Cafeteria and Bookstore Auxiliary Services. Prepares requests for proposals and quotations, evaluates proposals and bids, prepares revenue and expenditure contracts, reviews all contracts, and procures the necessary goods and services required by the college in compliance with college, TBR, and State of Tennessee purchasing policies, procedures, guidelines, and the state legal code.
The Director is responsible for all reports and contract administration for the College. Also, the Director is responsible for the development of the purchasing and auxiliary services budget and for all expenditures of department funds. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Reviews, negotiates, and prepares all expenditure and revenue contracts, amendments, addendums, and lease agreements for college. Ensure that all purchase orders, contracts, and leases comply with college, TBR, &amp; State of TN purchasing &amp; contracting policies, procedures &amp; guidelines.</li>
<li>Responsible for clear audit trail of records and files.</li>
<li>Research TN Code Annotated to maintain currently knowledge of TN laws.</li>
<li>Communicates with college personnel regarding writing specifications, making value analyses, negotiating, preparing requisitions, providing cost estimates, &amp; answering questions regarding various purchasing activities.</li>
<li>Ensures that bid documents are consistent in form &amp; content to appropriate TN laws &amp; policies.</li>
<li>Assign sources of supply for each bid.</li>
<li>Analyze bid documents &amp; perform final review of departmental recommendations for award to ensure compliance with appropriate policies.</li>
<li>Responsible for oversite and management of the College purchasing card program.</li>
<li>Corresponds, both oral &amp; written communication, with all levels of college personnel, existing &amp; potential suppliers, TBR personnel &amp; the public regarding purchasing activities; including preparation of various reports or performance of special projects as required by college personnel &amp; TBR.</li>
<li>Supervises staff to ensure efficient operation of the purchasing department.</li>
<li>Approves requisitions &amp; purchase orders; obligate funds for procurement of materials, equipment, &amp; services, &amp; obtain the best value at minimum cost for college.</li>
<li>Prepares departmental budget &amp; manage the expenses &amp; operations within the limits of the approved budget for Purchasing, Cafeteria, and Bookstore.</li>
<li>Attend appropriate conferences to acquire knowledge about current purchasing practices &amp; enhance professional development.</li>
<li>Coordinate distribution of surplus property notices &amp; disposal of surplus property through the bid process.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
