Under the guidance of our Hospitality Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our vibrant community.About Us: Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is a thriving community with three unique campuses:<ul><li>The Bay Campus: Home to over 800 residents and staff, spanning 11 acres.</li><li>WC at Home Services: A 10,000 square foot facility.</li><li>Opus Select Property: Features 176 independent apartments and various common areas.</li></ul>What You Will Do: As the Housekeeping &amp; Laundry Supervisor, you will:<ul><li>Supervise and support the Housekeeping and Laundry Teams to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.</li><li>Ensure proper use of equipment, processes, and chemicals.</li><li>Oversee laundry services, managing both personal and community linens.</li><li>Coordinate and lead the Housekeeping Project Team for community assignments, including trash removal, carpet cleaning, and event setups.</li><li>Utilize approved WCCB policies and procedures.</li><li>Coordinate training and orientation for new team members.</li><li>Manage schedules to fulfill all customer needs.</li><li>Conduct regular audits, inspections, and evaluations of campus conditions, reporting necessary repairs.</li><li>Schedule and lead staff meetings and team huddles.</li><li>Maintain survey readiness standards and ensure in-service training.</li><li>Foster excellent relations with residents, clients, and community departments.</li><li>Suggest new revenue resources and keep SOPs current.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors to explore labor-saving improvements through technology.</li><li>Support maintenance and renovation teams during emergencies.</li><li>Coordinate resident moves and furniture moves with vendors.</li><li>Maintain security and proper use of WCCB property, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>Manage team member payroll, reviews, and annual training.</li><li>Collaborate on annual budgeting and capital requests.</li><li>Process payables efficiently and handle service request quotes.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>What You Need to Be Successful:<ul><li>Supervisory and leadership experience.</li><li>Hospitality experience.</li><li>A pleasant, outgoing attitude and a willingness to assist.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet productivity standards.</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft and Google applications.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience, and show a high level of sensitivity and interest in people, especially older adults.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to climb at least two flights of stairs and stand or walk for extended periods.</li><li>Comfortable working in environments with pets.</li><li>Ability to handle cleaning chemicals.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.</li></ul>Why Join Us?
