Position Summary:The Arc, the nation's leading nonprofit advocating with and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), is seeking a Program Manager for its National Center on Criminal Justice and Disability (NCCJD). The NCCJD serves as a bridge between criminal justice and disability communities. NCCJD pursues and promotes safety, fairness, and justice for people with IDD, especially those with hidden disabilities and marginalized identities, as victims, witnesses, suspects, defendants, and incarcerated persons. &nbsp;The Program Manager of Disability and Justice Initiatives will manage ongoing and future grants and deliverables for advancing criminal justice reform for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a team player and self-starter with excellent project management and communications skills, who is able to handle a varied role, and has a range of experience within grant and program management. Demonstrable experience understanding the landscape of advocating for and working to improve the lives of those with IDD and their families is essential. LMI advances the pace of progress, enabling our customers to thrive while adapting to evolving mission needs.&nbsp;LMI is seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant to lead in developing, testing, and fielding advanced algorithms in support of a supply chain risk program for the Department of Defense.<h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Leverage deep and broad knowledge of advanced data science concepts to streamline the curation and analysis of complex supply-chain data</li><li>Use knowledge of advanced topics in data science, such as active learning, semi-supervised learning, bias calculation, etc.</li><li>Write python, spark, and SQL code to prepare and analyze data in both research and production environments</li><li>Work closely with data engineers, UI developers, and subject matter experts to develop and deploy data science methods in support of an evolving software suite</li><li>Lead and execute on data science tasking in support of multiple teams, coordinating prioritization across them as needed</li><li>Rapidly spin up on new data science topics and methods as they become applicable to the project</li><li>Work comfortably in a Data Bricks environment, where most code is developed, tested, and deployed via notebooks</li><li>Quickly learn, and be excited to leverage, novel data science techniques to solve real-world challenges involving large scale, often messy data sets</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and/or equivalent work experience</li><li>5+ years of experience as a data scientist</li><li>Experience with:<ul><li>Agile-based development</li><li>Python, Spark, notebooks</li><li>Data Bricks or similar environment</li><li>Scikit-learn or similar python packages</li></ul></li><li>Highly effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Active DoD Secret clearance required (Top Secret clearance desired)</li></ul><h4> LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
