Title:&nbsp;Grant Coordinator Division: Provost's Office Department: College of Nursing &amp; Health Professions FLSA Status:&nbsp;Exempt Salary Range:&nbsp;Annual Salary EEO Job Group:&nbsp;2 E2 Position Summary The University of Southern Indiana is accepting applications for&nbsp;Grant Coordinator. This position is responsible for overseeing program office operations to ensure federal compliance, managing budgets and subawards, monitoring project expenditures and allocating funds appropriately, and serving as a liaison across USI departments and program partners. This is a federally funded grant position through June 30, 2025. Funding for each subsequent year up to June 30, 2029, is contingent on satisfactory progress and continuation from HRSA. Duties/Responsibilities&nbsp; <ul><li>Oversee program office operations to ensure federal compliance. </li><li>Manage federal budgets and subawards, monitor project expenditures and allocate funds appropriately, and handle procurement and travel processes. </li><li>Facilitate budget revisions as needed. </li><li>Coordinate administrative tasks for student workers. </li><li>Maintain federal and university records.</li><li>Serve as a liaison between university offices (e.g., OSPRA, accounting, travel procurement, graduate school, human resources), under the direction of the GWEP project director. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Required Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite essential, with willingness to learn new applications. </li><li>Experience in organizing record systems and some bookkeeping/accounting skills. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional organization skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a team environment. </li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li></ul> Preferred Knowledge and Skills <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, health, or related field with 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. </li><li>Previous experience with computerized information systems. </li><li>Experience or interest in gerontology.</li></ul> Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements <ul><li> Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. &nbsp; </li><li> Occasional irregular hours may be required. &nbsp; </li><li> Occasional travel in and out of state may be required. </li></ul> About USI&nbsp;&nbsp; The University of Southern Indiana is a public higher education institution located on a beautiful&nbsp;1,400-acre campus in Evansville, IN.
