The creation of a UK HealthCare Specialty Pharmacy will allow subspecialty care to be managed entirely within UK HealthCare, avoiding the fractured care that currently exists by relying on external specialty pharmacies and manufacturer hubs. This position will provide a high patient-touch service while obtaining affordable access to these medications, both cornerstones of a high-functioning Specialty Pharmacy. Establish safe practices for infusion therapy handling, as well as collaborating and communicating with multidisciplinary team members involved in providing services to patients.
