Job Summary Registered Nurses in the TU/Transitional Care Unit at UK Chandler Hospital provide care patients ranging from adult to geriatrics. Patient conditions include all levels of critically ill, progressive care, telemetry and acute care needs. The Transitional Care Unit assists with decompressing overcrowded areas within the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and diagnostic/interventional radiology as well as evaluating patients from outside facilities for appropriate level of care placement and direct admits from clinic, office, or home.
