Supervise the administration of medications by direct care staff, administer medications at times when direct care staff is not on duty, and during school hours according to New York State Education Law. 2. Responsible for ensuring an adequate supply of prescription medications are available for direct care staff and for responsible adults during visitations. 3. Responsible for the provision of health-related services in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. 4. Conducts vision, hearing, and scoliosis examinations of school youth according to the New York State Education Law. Advises parents and/or administration if there is a need for further evaluation as appropriate. 5. Provide assessment and treatment of youth illnesses and injuries as outlined in the appropriate policies and according to New York State Education Law. 6. Provide written instructions to agency staff for the care of ill or injured youth. 7. Initiate all referrals to health care providers and assess the results of therapeutic treatment. 8. Responsible for scheduling of all health care needed by youth. Will ensure that providers have appropriate billing information. 9. Child and Family Counselor - Per Diem

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
