In this vital role, you’ll work with legal records, subpoenas, and client documentation—ensuring every piece of data is accurate and processed efficiently. Built on a foundation of trust, professionalism, and innovation, Lexitas delivers customized solutions with unmatched personal service to clients across the U.S. and internationally.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Accurately enter legal order data and identify duplicates or missing information</li><li>Interpret legal terminology and transcribe orders correctly</li><li>Ensure orders are complete and compliant with billing protocols</li><li>Manage and update billing rates tied to specific clients</li><li>Track and respond to requests using Microsoft Outlook</li><li>Process legal paperwork for service via fax, mail, courier, or hand-delivery</li><li>Calculate waiver, due, and order dates with precision</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Provide administrative support to managers, billing, and expeditor teams</li></ul>WHAT YOU’LL BRING:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high typing accuracy (38+ WPM)</li><li>Ability to multitask and work well under pressure</li><li>Strong communication skills—written and verbal</li><li>Familiarity with legal terms, subpoenas, depositions, and affidavits is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Windows; MR8 experience is a bonus</li><li>Comfortable using standard office equipment (fax, scanner, copier)</li><li>Willingness to work occasional overtime</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Prior data entry experience preferred, especially in legal or records-related environments</li><li>Excellent attendance and punctuality</li><li>Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member</li><li>Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality work</li></ul>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis role is not a supervisor position.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNonePHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
