This position will work 40 hours per week.

This position requires travel throughout the State of Oklahoma. Position will be based in Oklahoma City, OK.

DUTIES:

The primary purpose of this position is to develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships and to retain and grow business. The Account Manager is accountable for relationship management, renewal process and negotiation of both rate and services to achieve final rating and plan decisions, to deliver seamless and high quality service, and the resolution and communication of account and service issues. The Account Manager will spend approximately 60% of their time out of the office negotiating contract parameters as well as building and maintaining relationships with assigned broker and group market. The territory may include the entire state of Oklahoma & travel obligations may increase October - December.


 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills which includes public speaking and presentations.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Customer Service experience required
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in insurance, benefit administration or broker services.
  • Ability to operate PC and type 30 WPM.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while working with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's license and excellent driving record required; must be willing to travel and remain away from home overnight when necessary.
  • Oklahoma Accident and Health Producer License or ability to obtain Oklahoma Accident and Health Producer License within 90 days of employment. Must maintain insurance license once received.
  • CMS Certification


 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other related field preferred
  • Customer Service background in medical/dental field.
  • Background in dental terminology.
  • Classes in Conflict Management.
