POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Below outlines the potential ways an intern will be involved in the day-to-day processes within these functions in our accounting department. This position will assist the accounting of capital related items such as new restaurant builds, renovations, IT, and existing store asset additions/replacements. The IT, Lease Accounting, & Fixed Assets intern will focus on the following tasks:
- Assist with month-end close by creating journal entries and compiling supporting documentation
- Adding and retiring assets from the FA subledger
- Assist with FA Reporting and subledger asset reviews
- Creating new store assets in the subledger
- Assist with leasing statement reviews and organization
- Assist with monthly IT tech fee allocation
- Assist with managing IT hardware inventory from an accounting perspective

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Pursuing BS/BA in Accounting
- Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
- All class levels will be considered
Experience: No experience necessary
Computer Skills: Intermediate Excel
