Full-Time Salary Range: $31,052.40 - $33,722.88Part-Time Hourly Range: $14.00 - $16.00
The Ware County Wellness Clinic is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time or part-time position of Administrative Assistant based in Waycross, GA.As a Admin Assistant with the Southeast Health District, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to support the Southeast Health District’s Ware Wellness Center. Responsibilities include answering telephones, scheduling patients, patient check-in/out, processing referrals, electronic health record data entry, and providing transportation assistance. May research, investigate, and resolve program data or issues, draft documentation, reports, or presentations, and handle confidential information. Represents the program or unit by providing information and assistance to internal and external customers. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, proficient in MS Word and Excel. Excellent customer service skills. Experience working in a clinic or medical office setting. Experience working with HIV/AIDS patients. Bilingual

Southeast Health District accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. SEHD will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
