Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center (MCC), Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is recruiting for an Administrative Staff Officer II. The Markey Cancer Center Clinical Research Organization (CRO) is an initiative to support the MCC’s application to Comprehensive Cancer Center designation by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and competing renewals. The MCC CRO requires an experienced person to assist with grant administration, development and management of study budgets, processing and management of study and program financial accounts. The Administrative Staff Officer II will oversee the building of budgets and build budgets when needed, perform budget and grant administration, increase and streamline financial management and monitoring, workflow coordination and management of study and program accounts, administrative and account support activities for the life cycle of multi-center clinical research studies.
This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement.

Quantitative/Qualitative Analysis, Project Budgeting, Communication, Excel Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite. At least 1 year of experience using OnCore, Tableau, and EPIC preferred.
