Shift

Job Summary
The SuRE Research Center Administrative Assistant will help assist with all aspects of this NIH funded program. The goal of this program is to provide writing critiques, training, and advice to faculty and staff at SuRE-eligible academic institutions throughout the United States.
One important component of this program is to provide Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) Seed Grants to SuRE-eligible institutions. A second component is a biennial SuRE Conference that is organized by the SuRE Resource Center. This position will assist the SuRE Resource Center PI’s and Center Administrator.
In particular, the position will assist in all aspects of the OSP seed grant program (coordinating OSP seed grant application review, communicating with OSP seed grantees, scheduling meetings between OSP seed grantees and SuRE Resource Center Staff, and assisting with the oversight of OSP seed grant subawards). The position will also assist with the planning and implementation of the Biennial SuRE Conference.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Office, especially Excel. Strong organizational skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, grant knowledge is preferred but not required.
