Job Summary
The Clinical Title Series position is needed in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonology in order to meet the academic and clinical needs of the division and the Department in education, training and service consistent with the mission of the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine.
The Division of Pediatrics Pulmonology provides extensive clinical services to infants, children and adolescents with a variety of pulmonary disorders and diseases at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital and the Kentucky Clinics. The educational program encompasses medical students throughout their curriculum. The division is charged with care of a large population of patients and the development of clinical research.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality cost-effective care to children with pulmonary disorders and diseases at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital and the Kentucky Clinic. In addition, the faculty member will participate in the education of our students, residents and extended medical community. The faculty member recruited to this clinical title series position will develop clinical investigations/ projects in a selected area of clinical Pulmonology.
