Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Division of Abdominal Transplant Surgery is seeking a provider dedicated to the treatment of all aspects of abdominal transplant needs for Kentucky and surrounding areas. The Division of Abdominal Transplant is responsible for performing life-saving organ transplant surgeries, primarily involving the kidney, liver, pancreas, and intestines. This includes assessing patients for transplant eligibility, conducting complex surgical procedures to remove and replace damaged organs, and providing comprehensive post-operative care to ensure transplant success. Specific clinical areas to be addressed with this position are patient care responsibilities and increased patient care volume in Transplant Surgery.
