Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions as Assistant Professor of Construction Management in the Department of Construction Management with a preferred start date of January 2025. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• In-person and online graduate and/or undergraduate teaching 
• Curriculum planning and development
• Research and scholarly activities, including publications and grant writing 
• Department and college committee meetings, and service to the university, community, and profession

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

A Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Construction Management, or a closely related discipline, is required. The required degree must be earned by start date.

Preferred Qualifications Include

• Prior success in obtaining extramural funding
• Record of engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research
• Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to integrate their research, creative work and/or professional practice into their teaching, which will include core courses and/or electives, undergraduate and/or graduate classes.
