Description
The Associate Business Analyst is part of a team that enables the Corporate Technology Group to continuously modernize, consolidate and digitize technology solutions and provide an enhanced user experience to Fidelity associates. The Associate Business Analyst works closely with business teams to gain understanding of processes and the context in which the business operates. This role is responsible for documenting the capabilities needed to address operational and technological challenges through targeted improvements.

The Ethics Office plays a vital role in supporting associates at Fidelity by interpreting laws, regulations, and standards into workable compliance measures, fostering a culture of compliance and ethics through training and awareness efforts, and ensuring program effectiveness through monitoring and reporting.
In this role, you will help ensure that Fidelity protects its reputation by providing operational and project management to the team. We are seeking a candidate with a strong project management, technology, and business analysis background, who can thrive in a challenging, deadline-driven team environment. The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous project management, business analysis or technology environment experience preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Problem solving and data analytical skills
- Positive attitude and goal-driven
- Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Your communal working style with good interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills
- Your ability to take initiative; your actions and decisions are driven by customer needs

- Assisting in gathering and documenting business requirements with business users and translating them into functional specifications
- Executing test plans and cases with key stakeholders, ensuring that system tests are successfully completed
- Contributing in projects from gathering initial requirements through implementation
- Facilitating communication between technology team and business users for delivery of effective solutions
- Working closely with Product Owners to determine project estimates, deadlines, and deliverables
- Assisting in performing analysis of current processes and recommending improvements
- Reviewing business user feedback and backlogs to continuously improve solutions
- Working closely with technology team to assist in the analysis and resolution of production support issues
