Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide direct athletic training support at the high school level for a contracted school with UK Sports Medicine.

They will work closely with coaches, athletic directors, parents, physicians and other health care professionals to assess and treat injuries for student athletes.

The Athletic Trainer’s primary job responsibility is to provide injury assessment to assigned contracted school’s for KHSAA sanctioned sports. Game and event coverage will be required as assigned, and travel is required.

Job duties include: treat and rehabilitate injuries of athletes assigned, and work in close communication with physicians and other medical professionals.
