Job Description
Our Full-Time Financial Advisors and College Financial Representative Interns at Northwestern Mutual Red Bank help their clients live more and worry less through our unique approach to financial planning. Our advisors, who come from varying academic backgrounds and experiences, begin to build a financial planning practice while employing local and nationwide experts, exclusive financial products, and the support of a Fortune 100 company. You will have the opportunity to build your confidence, develop a professional network, and change people’s lives by helping them achieve financial freedom. Here, hard work pays off!

Our internship program and full-time career allows you to:

• Build your client base through prospecting and networking
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals
• Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations
• Gain exposure to planning software platforms
• Get licensed with your Life, Accident, and Health insurance license and start investment licensing process
• Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings

Qualifications

• (If applying to internship) Full-time student; rising juniors and seniors preferred
• (If applying to full-time role) Bachelor's degree, any field
• Entrepreneurial and curiosity for sales
• Excellent time-management skills
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools
• Business savvy

Performance-Based Compensation & Benefits

Note: How much do you want to make? These roles are meant for ambitious people who are driven to earn more than you might in a typical hourly or salaried role. Your compensation is tied directly to how hard you work!

• Unlimited Commissions
• Weekly Incentives based on business-building activities up to $3,000
• Reimbursement for insurance licensing (life, health, DI, LTC)
• Reimbursement for SIE, Series 7, Series 63 registrations (eligibility required)
