Job Summary
The UK History Department Communications Intern will assist the Chair and the Director of Undergraduate Studies with outreach and publicity, including website content, social media posts, and philanthropy efforts.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Create and edit web content
- Develop newsletter content
- Generate and post to social media accounts
- Research and write alumni profiles
- Serve as a representative for the History Department at events, talking to potential students, alumni and donors
- Help create advising and recruitment resources for the undergraduate program
- Other duties as assigned
